Job Description:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs secretarial and general office work to assist with administrative duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, tracking information in relational databases, scheduling of work assignments, collections and billing, filing necessary contracts and paperwork, maintaining a clean office environment for clerical areas, and general office support. The Customer Service Representative frequently requires the prioritization of conflicting appointments, interaction with key industry representatives, and often requires tactful responses to complainants to assist in conflict resolution. The Customer Service Representative reports directly to the Customer Service Manager.

Job Duties:
  • Critical-Thinking skills: These skills are required as the CSR will need to devise plans of action and assess those plans daily to ensure quality of customer service.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The CSR will need to be ready when problems arise, or be ready to anticipate problems before they happen.
  • Communication Skills: The CSR will need to communicate with co-workers and customers on a regular basis.
  • Organizational Skills: Multiple services, people and many moving pieces will require CSR to be excellent at multi-tasking.
  • Proactive communication with customers via telephone, e-mail, or regular mail; managing database records; running various reports.
  • Maintains solid customer relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Strong research skills are required to trouble-shoot customer problems.
  • Processing customer payments via checks and credit cards. 
  • Additional duties as required
Education, Training and Experience:

CSR needs to have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in Pest Control and use of software is a plus.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years minimum experience working in an office setting to include: Microsoft Office suite, multi-line phones and office equipment. Pest Control industry experience is preferred.
